Description
One of the earlier examples of bastnaesite to come out of this rich deposit when they started to be found in the early 2000s (purchased by Ernie in 2004), this remains unusual to this day for the color. It is a doubly terminated floater, lustrous, and sharp - and has a much more yellow-amber color than the red-brown material we see from the last ten years or so.
Known provenanceKnowing where your specimen comes from and who owned it adds to its story and value. Good provenance helps prove it's authentic and preserves important details about its discovery.
