For the location, this is an exceptionally good pair of large, colorful Old Yuma Mine Wulfenites that together composes a dramatic small miniature. The two bright orange, 1.9 cm, translucent, almost square crystals have superb luster (one side has better luster than the other) and they display nicely beveled dipyramidal edges. The crystals are arranged almost perfectly perpendicular for great composition and look like they are perched on a third crystal, however, it is just an extension of one of the other larger crystals. There are a few other smaller Wulfenite crystals in association. A choice, seldom available Old Yuma Mine Wulfenite with large crystals and provides lots of flash in a display case. Provenance from several significant Arizona-focused collections (Bruce Murphy and Mark Hay with labels).
