This is one of the most unique and classic of all Spanish fluorite finds, still unique in style in all the world, from a small series of pockets found in 1974. The combination of subtle coloration changes, edge bevels and shapes, and complex growths of cubes upon cubes is mesmerizing. It is so much better in person, and hard to convey in photos due to the extreme 3-dimensionality here. We almost never see any for sale. This large specimen has clusters of crystals, with individual crystals to 1.6 cm or a bit more. Old Jordi Fabre label, and he sold it to us as it came back from one of the major Spanish collections he had himself helped build over decades. It is such a special style, recognizable immediately, and this commands both an attention and a price premium. Think of how similarly unique Illinois fluorites are priced amidst the crowd. We have only had a handful of these over decades.
