This is a very showy, small cabinet Wulfenite with big crystals from this absolutely classic Mexican locality; and of a style from the 1960s-1970s. It has unusual size and color saturation. These super lustrous, thick, blocky, bi-color Wulfenites are from 5 mm to 2.2 cm on edge, averaging over 1.5 cm! These beautiful two-toned Wulfenites make up this entire elongated piece and have a rich, translucent, dark orange layer on one side and then a burnt orange layer on the other...not the typical "sandwich" type crystals from here. There is some minor damage and peripheral contacting to the matrix which interestingly is massive, slightly porous to vuggy Wulfenite! The crystals themselves are in great condition overall and it is very impactful in person, especially for such an old specimen.
