Transparent to semi-transparent Calcite forms sharp rhombohedral crystals averaging 7 mm in length and covering an elongated domed core of rusty-orange carbonate matrix. From Tsumeb mine in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. Calcite was ubiquitous throughout Tsumeb yet occurred in many crystal habits, this being a good example of the rhombic habit.\n
