Topaz
Unknown Owner
This Topaz crystal from Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah, USA is an absolute wonder. Yes, it is only thumbnail in size, but look carefully at the video for the perfection in crystal form. The crystal faces are pristine, well-formed, with sharp edges and glassy, gemmy, reflections. If you look carefully you will even see tiny additional faces. Crystallographically, this is a beautiful specimen, but added to that is its fabulous sherry colour and perfect internal transparency. The crystal, at about 1.5 cm in length, is sat upon, and alongside, a small piece of contrasting white to pale grey matrix (possibly a rhyolite) that shows through inside the crystal like looking into an aquarium. Full of character, this is a delightful Topaz to view.
