Chrysoberyl var. Alexandrite$1,200.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This miniature specimen is a complex aggregate of hexagonal, cyclic twinned Chrysoberyl crystals from the classic African locality at Novello mine, Masvingo District, Zimbabwe. As with most specimens from this mine, the Chrysoberyl is not gemmy, but is the dark green variety Alexandrite. The individual twinned crystals reach an impressive 2.3 cm across with well-defined, but smooth rounded faces. There are lots of crystals present, but their intergrown state means that none show completely in 360 degrees. This is nevertheless a substantial specimen of Alexandrite from this important locality.
