Two quite distinctive slightly water worn miniature specimens of Cornish Cassiterite in Quartz veinstone. The dappled linear patches of brown Cassiterite contrast with the white Quartz to make attractive stripy patterns. Two German labels accompany the specimens and use the name "Zinnstein" for Cassiterite. One of the labels is from the dealer Dr. F. Krantz in Bonn and appears to date from the second half of the 20th century.
