A classic Derbyshire mineralogical association from the underground workings of the famous Golconda mine, near Brassington. The secondary zinc species Aurichalcite and Hemimorphite form an attractive display on this very large miniature to small cabinet specimen. Sparkling colourless to beige coloured glassy Hemimorphite microcrystals form the larger part of this specimen as a 'cement' with bright turquoise-blue pearlescent sprays and botryoidal crusts of Aurichalcite. Ex John Jones collection (no. 81143), collected in 1981.
