Crystal ClassicsFeatured
Tucson, Arizona, USAA fine thumbnail specimen of Zincolivenite, as sharp, gemmy, dark green, colour-zoned crystals upon yellow powdery Gartrellite from Tsumeb mine. A few of the Zincolivenite crystals are damaged, but many are perfect. Old notes with the specimen erroneously document the Gartrellite as Bayldonite and record the Zincolivenite under its old name - Cupro-Adamite. These same notes record that a previous owner acquired it in 1979 from a German collector/dealer. A lovely, well-crystallized older specimen.
