This pretty little thumbnail specimen is a single, off-matrix, prismatic crystal of Vesuvianite from the famous Jeffrey mine in Québec, Canada. It might only be 14 mm tall, but wow, that pink top is so dramatic. The termination is clean and sharp with a flat top with a great glassy lustre. The translucent pink cap descends into a short gooseberry grey-green prism below. A beautiful and charismatic Jeffrey mine Vesuvianite.
