Description
Romanian Native Gold specimens from the famous historical district of Roşia Montană in Alba County are some of the most sought after European classics. This is a miniature example, but the texture and form of the Native Gold is absolutely wonderful - like a dendritic plant leaf, but in gold. The Native Gold 'leaf' measures 1.3 cm across and is the characteristic pale gold colour typical of many Roşia Montană specimens. It is sat upon finely crystallized sparry white Quartz. Small, but absolutely stunning.
