With the fear of sounding like super-hype, I have to admit this must be the most beautifully crystallised and aesthetic Goethite I have ever encountered from the St Just region in the far south west of Cornwall, England. Forming a choicest of miniatures, prismatic blades of metallic, jet black Goethite cover a 4.5 x 3 cm surface on a milky veinstone Quartz matrix with a flat sawn base. The Goethite's lustre can only be described as brilliant and second to none! A sensational miniature which is guaranteed to please.
