This large thumbnail Topaz crystal from the famous Murzinka Mine (Mursinsk) is a crystallographic delight. Colourless, glassy and bright, it displays textbook crystal faces for Topaz with wonderful symmetry. The base of the crystal is a natural fracture and above this the prism faces and termination are pristine. A small, but superb Topaz crystal from an all-time classic occurrence.
