Description
This is a very rich Native Gold from the Gold Hill District, Boulder Co., Colorado, USA. Specifically from Cash mine, this large thumbnail specimen displays a very prominent hackly mass of metallic Native Gold dispersed throughout a vein of white Quartz. A small piece of host rock is attached to the base which is mounted upon an acrylic base for display. The area of Native Gold reaches about 1.2 cm tall by 0.5 cm wide. A lovely, highly visible Colorado gold from a classic locality.
