This polished cabochon of gem-quality Topaz has straw-colored inclusions of what looks like rutile, but are said to be limonite coatings in hollow casts of some acicular mineral. The Topaz is water-clear, and this large piece, with a mass of 62.5 grams, is drilled at the top to permit for jewelry setting.
