Here we have a highly lustrous, superb, 8 mm, mostly exposed, deep cherry-red Spinel octahedron from the Mogok Stone Tract in Burma. The crystal has great color, form and luster and it contrasts well with the off-white marble matrix. It has excellent fluorescence, turning a vibrant, neon, pinky-orange under blacklight. These sharp red gems are classics from the 1990s.
