Elegantly accented by white Albite is a well formed, glassy and gemmy, light blue Aquamarine crystal measuring 5.1 cm in length and 2.6 cm across. The entire crystal is a beautiful light sky-blue color, has a glassy luster and is essentially gem throughout its length with only some minor horizontal crazing near the bottom. The clarity and sharpness make it look like pale blue glass. The crystal also has distinct pyramidal modifications at the top termination and the flat pinacoid termination also displays an intricate geometric pattern of growth hillocks (some look like snowflakes!). To add to the aesthetics of the piece, rosettes of bright white Albite are clustered on the left and rear of the piece which also provides wonderful contrast! This is a very well balanced combination specimen from the pegmatites of Pakistan mined in 2020. This superb Aqua stands out dramatically in a display.
