Nearly all of this 7.6cm aquamarine crystal is complete gem-quality material! This 35.1gram crystal has tiny accents of black schorl and a flat termination. This is a classic example of gem-quality aquamarine from Shigar Valley, an area known worldwide for their aqua. Normally such "gem pencils" are priced a bit higher, especially when so water-clear. However, this has a few slight contacts on the backside, shallow grooves where it grew against other crystals. This is not immediately visible from the front.
