This attractive miniature consists of a medium blue Aquamarine crystal balanced by scintillating patches of Muscovite crystals that cover blocky Feldspar and Aquamarine crystals. The lustrous, 2.5 cm Aquamarine crystal transitions from a translucent, dark sky-blue at the base to a gemmy, lighter sky-blue at the termination. The glassy, flat pinacoid termination is slightly modified by small pyramid faces and there are even two tiny Aquamarine crystals peeking through the Muscovite with similar terminations on a miniature scale. The Muscovite on this piece is really attractive in that it occurs as 2 to 3 mm, golden, patchy clusters with some separation between them for great aesthetic effect and the tiny crystals that comprise them just scintillate.
