Chinese aquamarines seem like pale blue morganites in form, and nobody has really given a good explanation for why the shape of Chinese aquas looks like Afghani morganites of different color. That being said, this is a fine and sharp, textbook beryl crystal of 2.7 cm across and it shows great poise and balance atop a muscovite matrix. A fine miniature, from older finds of the 90s or early 2000s.
