The Yaogangxian Mine has continued to surprise us with a wide variety and beauty of specimens found there over the years, even for species we have seen before. In the summer of 2019, this find of iridescent Arsenopyrite became another example of why this locality is so interesting! This 5 cm cluster of brilliantly colored Arsenopyrite ranges in color from an iridescent aqua-blue to golden yellow to yellow-green with complex crystal growth that creates numerous sparkling crystal faces that reflect light. An incredibly attractive miniature! The colors are STUNNING in person.
