A sharp and modified calcite crystal with a heavy coating of sparkly, deep purple yttrofluorite is sitting on top of a bed of smaller scalenohedral calcite crystals on this particularly elegant example from the new finds in China of 2021. There is a secondary generation of gemmy, clear calcite crystals in amongst the first generation of scalenohedral crystals. The large crystal is 2.5 cm across, and perfect, 360-degrees all around!
