Large half natural and half polished piece with natural textured sky blue Shattuckite botryoids sitting above a highly polished slice highlighting the magnificent dark rich blue colors and textural growth patterns of the Shattuckite that are hidden beneath...A dazzling contrasting three dimensional composition that is exquisite! The largest polished hemisphere measures 2.9 cm across. The overall luster of the Shattuckite slab is glossy with minor surface fracture traces due to the differential hardness of the dark and medium blue (harder areas) compared to the lighter blue areas (slightly softer) when polishing. The back is also slabbed but not polished showing the similar array of multi-hued blue colors with a variety of textures and growth forms. A lovely combination example of both natural and polished Shattuckite. 105 grams.
