A gemmy, pale yellow, discernibly zoned Topaz crystal is crowned with numerous doubly-terminated Quartz crystals in parallel or nearly parallel growth. Several of these Quartz crystals cascade down the backside of the Topaz. This nicely composed pegmatite combination piece looks good all around! Highly unusual association - I cannot recall seeing quartz ON a topaz like this, very often if at all.
