Jos is known for emerald, tourmaline, phenakite, and sometimes an occasional aquamarine. This specimen is an unusual miniature no matter where it is from, a uniquely shaped "bullet" of intense dark blue aquamarine with a truly saturated color combined with the unusual shape. It looks like one aquamarine is shooting through another, about to explode out, with a strange pointed termination emerging from a surrounding "shell" or wreath of etched aquamarine. the whole thing is simply organic-looking. 54 grams.
