These brassy chalcopyrite configurations (often called blister copper) could initially be mistaken for old, classic finds from Cornwall, with similar bright luster and bubbling formation, but they're actually "COVID-era" finds from China. They are from a small pocket which we acquired that came out in late 2019. This is a surprisingly balanced specimen with a sharp twinned calcite overtopping a rolling plate of solid chalcopyrite. Unique, aesthetic material!
