This surprising twinned fluorite looks like a sculpture, perched up among quartz points. It comes from the famous Yaogangxian Mine in Hunan Province, but is of a very rare and unusual style, with twins like this found only in about 1 in 1000 crystals - if that. It is a compound crystal consisting of at least 3 spinel twin growths, giving it a bizarre look. The quality is perfect, complete, and free of damage. Subtle zones and growths at the tips make it mesmerizing up close, as well as from a distance. Complete all around. We suspect this was from older finds, not recent at all.
