The ArkenstoneFeatured
This specimen from the REALLY high Alpine mining district in Nepal features an unusual tapered aquamarine crystal like none we have ever seen. The crystal curves gracefully inward like a futuristic tower with a flat observation deck atop. The hexagonal face atop is the same size of the body of the crystal at the bottom, and yet sharp and sitting on the curving column - a dramatic growth effect that we have not seen frequently in aquamarine. From the private beryl collection of Bill Larson, specializing in variety and style.
