Sphalerite (var. Marmatite)
Octahedral black crystal with very smooth and shiny faces on a mound of white quartz crystals offering an astonishing contrast. The edges of the crystal show in fact that it is a twin of spinel type. A small flat galena crystal of 1.6 cm has developed on one side of the sphalerite, and another galena crystal of 2.3 cm is isolated at the bottom of the matrix.
