Double terminated 5.9 cm transparent quartz crystal at the base of which two sharp parallel plates with beveled edges of bright black hematite have grown. Both are covered on all sides with red rutile crystals (the largest measuring 8 mm) which have developed in epitaxial growth on the hematite, characteristic of this deposit.
