Deep red cuprite with metallic luster on matrix. The well-formed, highly lustrous and attractive crystals are a deep translucent blood red in bright light or when backlit. This specific specimen has a high concentration of cuprites densely packed together with a lovely silvery sheen. Even though copper minerals from the Luifengshan Mine are fairly new to the market, its cuprite specimens rival some of the best cuprites from all over the world.
