Cuprite
Deep red cuprite with metallic luster on matrix. The well-formed, highly lustrous and attractive crystals are a deep translucent blood red in bright light or when backlit. These highly lustrous cuprite crystals also stand out nicely against their velvety black and red matrix backdrop. Even though copper minerals from the Luifengshan Mine are fairly new to the market, its cuprite specimens rival some of the best cuprites from all over the world.
