Cerussite comes from a number of localities around the world. Ranked among some of the most desirable localities is the Broken Hill Dist. in NSW Australia. This massive and complex lead-zinc, silver deposit has been exploited since 1883 and spawned one of the world largest mining companies BHP Billiton.
