An attractive lustrous crystal grouping of native gold measuring 2.4 cm in height, rising prominently from a massive white quartz matrix, from Aouint Ighoman, Morocco. The gold displays bright metallic luster and well defined crystalline structure, creating strong visual contrast against the quartz host rock. Specimens from this Moroccan locality are known for their aesthetic crystalline gold on matrix, and well formed examples in great condition such as this are highly desirable to collectors of fine native element specimens.
