Tucson, Arizona, USAA beautiful archetypal specimen of Vesuvianite from the famous Jeffrey mine at Asbestos in Canada. Very well-developed prismatic crystals of Vesuvianite abundantly adorn the specimen, with crystals measuring to 4.3 cm with step-pointed terminations, many of which are double terminated. The crystals have a reddish-purple core overgrown by gemmy vibrant lime- green Vesuvianite, appearing like sticks of delicious crisp rhubarb! A beautiful and gorgeously-coloured specimen from the Jeffrey mine.
