Tucson, Arizona, USAA very fine specimen of rich green Zincolivenite from the Tsumeb mine in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. Lustrous Zincolivenite crystals measuring to 9 mm display curved, fan-like, parallel growth covering a mixed matrix of Quartz and red-brown Goethite. Zincolivenite is a relatively new species within the Olivenite-Adamite continuous series. Formerly named zinc-olivenite or cuproadamite (depending on its composition), the mid-series section is now the distinct species Zincolivenite.
