From the Tsumeb mine in Namibia, many lustrous broad-bladed crystals of Zincolivenite cover a flat plate of mixed Dolomite and more massive Zincolivenite matrix. The crystals measure to 1 cm and display light green central zones and a darker green outer zone, forming an arc across the specimen. Zincolivenite is now a recognised mineral species occurring as an intermediate member within the Olivenite and Adamite solid solution series. A most attractive small miniature of excellent Zincolivenite crystals.
