This miniature specimen is richly invested in crystallized Cuprite with sprigs of Native Copper showing through. Its density gives away its richness with the Cuprite extending throughout the Quartz matrix as veinlets and disseminations. There is some damage, but also excellent areas showing the cubic form typical of Phoenix United mine Cuprite crystals. Under magnification and illumination the Cuprite is intensely red and one small area on the back displays rare filiform Cuprite.
