A fine crystallized Native Gold from the Rosia Montana mining area of Romania, comes with an old hand written label with the date 1878. The specimen shows gorgeous bright metallic gold colour, and is finely crystallized. Crystals of Native Gold form very discernible cubic habit around the outer edge of the specimen measuring to 1mm, to wire like habit at the central areas of the Native Gold.
