Tucson, Arizona, USAA classic cabinet specimen of the Campylite variety of Mimetite from the first known location for this variation at Dry Gill mine in the Caldbeck Fells of Cumbria. Micro-crystals of Mimetite form as individuals and spherical clusters up to 0.8 cm, with light red tinted mustard-yellow lustrous crystals. The Campylite richly covers a characteristic grey-black manganese-oxide coated white Quartz veinstone matrix. A great and aesthetic Campylite from Dry Gill.
