A rich specimen of the very rare mineral Gerhardtite, a copper nitrate hydroxide, from the Likasia Mine, Dem Rep of Congo. An excellent cleavage of Gerhardtite with some crystal faces, measuring to 1.2cm a lustrous dark emerald green in a crystal vug of Cuprite associated with pastel blue-white Chrysocolla with Malachite on a dense-crystalline Cuprite matrix.
