This gorgeous lavender-pink botryoidal Smithsonite is from the classic Mexican occurrence at Choix. It is a lovely cabinet-sized display specimen with no surface damage and has that wonderful 'wet' pearlescent to silky lustre to it which really grabs your attention. The play of light off the surface is really eye-catching. A stunning Smithsonite by anyone's reckoning and would look superb in any Mexican display, or display of the diversity of colour in minerals. This is classic, older material, perhaps never to be repeated again.
