CUPRIAN Aragonite
An impressive botryoidal coating of bubbly, light apple-green Cuprian Aragonite surrounded by milky-white Aragonite, some of which forms botryoidal mounds up to 1 cm in diameter. The Aragonite occurs as a flowstone over the dense dark grey matrix, typical of specimens from Tynebottom mine, in Garrigill, Alston Moor, Cumbria. Mineral collectors tend to be much more familiar with Cobaltian Aragonite from Tynebottom, so this makes an ideal complimentary addition.\n
