A fine, highly displayable specimen of Wulfenite from the famous Stefanie mine at Bad Bleiberg, Austria. The Wulfenite forms freestanding, large (to 17 mm), orange-yellow, platy crystals of octagonal habit intergrown over three-quarters of an altered limestone matrix. A beautiful example from the Bad Bleiberg district which is the Type Locality for Wulfenite.
