A sparkling specimen of Dioptase on Calcite from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. A fine druse of blue-green Dioptase richly coated certain faces of rhombic Calcite crystals. Intergrown crystals of Calcite measure to 1.1cm on edge, and are translucent white. A late phase of colourless Calcite microcrystals are sprinkled over the Dioptase. A fine specimen from the Tsumeb Mine.
