An aesthetic and mineralogically fascinating small miniature Calcite with Pyrite from the P?'bram Mining District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Stubby, hexagonal Calcite crystals with nail-head terminations form a tight cluster. First generation Calcites are capped with micro-crystallised dull brassy Pyrite and around these, a second generation of Calcite has developed. These encase the original Calcite crystals but leave the Pyrite coated tips exposed. Under LWUV the Calcite fluoresces fiery orange red of medium intensity. A P?'bram Calcite and Pyrite with lots of interesting features.
