A choice mound of glassy and translucent Cobaltoan Calcite crystals from the Aghbar Mine in the Bou Azer (Azzer) District of Morocco. The nail-head crystals range between 0.8 and 1 cm across and completely envelope a core of massive milky Calcite. The colour is a vivid magenta-fuchsia-pink with a bright glassy to slightly greasy lustre. An excellent Cobaltoan Calcite from the Bou Azzer mining district, a modern classic.
