A fine miniature of delicate powder turquoise-green Aurichalcite forms a velvet textured druse of micro-acicular crystals over a creamy white Baryte matrix encrusted with glassy spherules of colourless to buff Hemimorphite. This lovely example of the zinc-copper carbonate Aurichalcite was collected by John Jones, the well-known Derbyshire collector in September 1981. This specimen is accompanied with his label and will make a great addition to any Derbyshire suite.
