This beautiful large miniature is really two specimens for the price of one! What would be considered the display face is a flat bed of transparent, colourless rhombohedral Calcite crystals set against a deep cherry to crimson-red Dolomite cast matrix. The underside of the cast is a delightful russet-orange plate of Dolomite forming crystallised micro-ridges punctuated by occasional micro-spheres of limey apple-green Conichalcite. A delightful Calcite from Tsumeb.
